This fee covers:
assessment of the organisation’s declaration
verification checks
review against the Takahē criteria including NZBN or Company Number for businesses.
administrative processing

The fee is non‑refundable.
It is charged for the assessment process, not for the license itself.
License Issuance
A Takahē License is only granted if the organisation meets all criteria, including:
100% local service delivery
no outsourcing of core service functions
alignment with the Blue Moon principles
accurate and complete declaration
If the organisation does not meet the criteria, the application is declined and the license is not issued.

No guarantee of approval
No refunds for unsuccessful applications
No automatic renewal without reassessment
No access to the Takahe Blue Moon Framework (membership only)
